We need to finalize the plans for the privacy observatory. Maria proposed that we meet towards mid january to give us some more time in planning and attracting people from law and ethics.
Maria also raised the following questions about the PO:
1. how to build the "second layer" of the PO; i.e. the "planetary" network of experts that UE wants to see?
2. what is the scientific contribution of PO?
3. should the PO have a stable, juridical shape?
4. and finally: who does what in the PO-first layer, possibly involving each participant
I would like the PO to have an official body in the second year. We need to plan for that too.

We would be interested in contributing to this (we are not ICT engineers but ethics/social scientists working on privacy issues in various f7p projects)
